Stop Stealing Porn, Please?
Have you ever considered the impact you can have when you steal porn videos from torrent sites or file sharing services like Hotfile? It can have a far larger impact on people’s lives in comparison to stealing Hollywood movies, not that I approve of doing that either. When you steal porn from a company like mine, you may have saved $30, but we just lost $30. When hundreds of people are choosing to steal our films instead of signing up, that amount really starts to rack up.
What you have to remember is the models in these videos are not doing this for fun. They are doing it as a job. The money from our membership signups pay these models to perform in our videos. Without any membership fees these models lose out on shoots. We do less shoots and pay models lower fees, affecting their lives, and ours. We all have lives to fund, rent to pay, ect.
It is true that there are some very large porn companies out there turning over millions of dollars on an annual basis, but I can assure you HomoEmo is not one of them. We are a small (but growing) operation and every single lost membership affects us dramatically. That aside I am sure you don’t really care about the companies running these porn sites, but the question is, do you care about the models? You like jerking off over them when you steal the videos they perform in. Do you care about their well being?
If you do, next time you go to steal a video with a favourite model of yours in, STOP. That model needs the money you should be paying to see them perform. Porn Piracy is a huge problem, and it’s driving a lot of porn companies to close their doors. If nobody is paying for porn, who is going to pay for more to be produced? Gay porn will get boring pretty quick if there is nothing new being produced.
